[Ferus] line
equus ferusとは、ラテン語で野生の馬のこと。
英語のWild horseとは違い、生物学上の種の名称であり、定義です。
この言葉は、家畜化された馬（Equus caballus）になる前の、「最初から自由であった、本来の生命の姿」を指します。
equus ferusが表現するのは、ファッションとしてのワイルドさではなく、
人間がその奥底に眠らせている「飼いならされていない高潔な精神」そのものです。
また、equus ferusのブランドコンセプトは、野生の馬が地平線を望み、荒野を駆けるイメージを起点としています。
それは、遠く世界のどこかに存在するであろう、自由で広がりのある光景を想像するための視点です。
しかし、Ferusラインではその視点を「荒野を駆ける馬」の目線へと転換します。
誰にも飼いならされず、自分の足で人生という荒野を歩く。
自立した精神を持つ生命であるFerusラインのプロダクト使用者が、その荒野を駆ける一頭の馬となります。

“Equus ferus” is the Latin term for the wild horse.
Unlike the English term “wild horse,” it is a biological species name and a definition.
This term refers to the “original form of life that was free from the very beginning,” prior to the horse being domesticated (Equus caballus).
What *Equus ferus* expresses is not a “wild” aesthetic in fashion,
but rather the very “untamed, noble spirit” that lies dormant deep within every human being.
Furthermore, the brand concept of *Equus ferus* is rooted in the image of a wild horse gazing toward the horizon and galloping across the wilderness.
It offers a perspective from which to imagine the vast, liberating vistas that surely exist somewhere far away in the world.
However, the Ferus line shifts that perspective to the viewpoint of a “horse galloping across the wilderness.”
Untamed by anyone, walking the wilderness of life on one’s own two feet.
Users of the Ferus line—beings with an independent spirit—become that single horse galloping across the wilderness.

When I think of the horizon, I am inspired by the fact that I am in a city surrounded by man-made objects.
The contrast between Dyneema leather, which remains almost unchanged, and natural leather, which gradually ages, is emphasized by the passage of time.
